I have heard good things about this workout and I'm just going to come right out and be negative, but I think it sucks. The instruction is horrible. Unless you know yoga, you wouldn't know what to do unless you are watching the tv the whole time which is mighty difficult from down dog and plank without hurting your neck. Did I miss some sort of instructional DVD that ran through the poses while simultaneously trying to sell me a shake that costs more than your typical car payment?
This video alone makes me want to chuck P90X in the garage sale pile. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Food- ugh, I have been so off track since mother's day. I really need to sit down and form a plan. Today was crazy.
I picked up a paleo cookbook at the suggestion of my doctor. I have to be gluten free, my son needs to be dairy free- apparently paleo fits both these special needs. For the record- I don't believe in fad diets, I haven't read about paleo so I don't know if it qualifies as a fad or not. But of course, I gravitated to the sweetest breakfast in the book. A coconut flour waffle.
I was ravenous when we got home from our morning outing, so I threw together the quickest lunch I could and scarfed it down. I don't normally eat like I am 5 years old, but I had an almond butter and raspberry preserve sandwich on millet bread.
Then I was lazy and had a almond milk protein shake with chia seeds for snack.
I had a dinner to be proud of though! A salad topped with roasted veggies (sweet potato, onion, green beans), tomato, a few walnuts and a yogurt based dressing. So good!!
So there you have it, what NOT to do post body revolution.
Have a great night! :)
